There has been a lot of attendion paid to the negative effects on our youth due to excessive, addictive phone use. (Never mind the negative effects on us adults who are doing the same thing!)
Here is a very interesting article that shares research data on the effect on kids (comparing girls and boys) and an experiment where kids gave up their phones for a month and and culminated in an unsupervised camping trip at the end of the month. In addition, recommendations are provided at the end of the article. https://childrenshealthdefense.org/defender/teens-smartphones-one-month-digital-detox/?utm_source=luminate
Please share, we grownups kinda blew it up to now and now we need to self correct.
What happens when teens go without a cell phone for a month?
