Sue is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern (License No. ISW23437) who works with adolescents and adults. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology with a minor in Public Health from the University of Miami and her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of South Florida.

Prior to joining TBC for CBT, Sue worked as an eating disorder recovery coach at Monte Nido & Affiliates and served as a research assistant in the University of Miami’s Youth Risk and Resilience Lab, studying the impact of natural disasters on youth.

Sue has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and play therapy techniques. She is currently receiving intensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) under the supervision of DBT-Linehan Board Certified Clinician Nancy Gordon, LCSW, and recently completed a three-day intensive DBT training led by Nancy Gordon.

Sue believes that the therapeutic relationship is built on collaboration, authenticity, and trust. She is passionate about helping clients develop the skills to build a meaningful, fulfilling life and achieve their own “Life Worth Living” goals.

Sue’s interests include discovering new music, spending time outdoors, and traveling.
