Presenter:  Nancy Gordon, LCSW.  DBT-Linehan Board of Certification, Certified Clinician™

This 4-Day (28 CE’s) training is designed to provide initial training on DBT. The first two days is an overview of the treatment, focusing on the research, theories, principles and core DBT interventions and strategies to teach adaptive coping and achieve stability for multi-diagnostic high risk teens and adults. The second 2 Days will be focused on learning and teaching the DBT skills. Participants have the option of either attending all 4 days, or Part 1 or Part 2 although Part 2 does require prior DBT training.

The participant will come away from the training with a beginning understanding of this complex treatment model, specific interventions and strategies that can be utilized immediately in their practice, and where they can get more intensive training. This is a level one training for those who are interested in moving forward towards DBT Certification through the Linehan Board of Certification.
