The next DBT workshop will be held at the annual Florida NASW Conference June 14th.  The topic:  Doing Dialectical Behavior Therapy-Informed Family Therapy.  Presented by
Nancy Gordon, LCSW
“The role of family therapy in augmenting skills training and the individual therapy is sometimes unclear, especially to clinicians who are new to DBT. This hands-on workshop will offer practical guidelines and strategies for making family therapy more effective both within the context of a comprehensive DBT program and without.”

In addition, Nancy is co-teaching for the 5th year, the Qualified Supervisors Class at the Pre-conference on June 12-13.  If you want to be a Qualified Supervisor (either LCSW or LMHC) please join us.  This class has gotten rave reviews every year.

I am also working on setting a date for the fall to hold a DBT Advanced 2-Day Training focusing on Individual Therapy strategies.  This would be geared to those who have had initial training and are providing DBT or DBT informed therapy and want to enhance their skills.
